This one was a treat!

commissioned me to throw some colours at this gorgeous cover for a future issue of his Lost Kids book (sorry Felipe, but I can't remember which issue you said - 3 maybe?). The original art is by the one & only

, and a quick glance through my gallery should give you some idea just how fond I am of his lines. Okay, so all those ropes rather did my head in during the flatting stage - I lost count of how many times I exclaimed "rigging's all done!", only to find another bit I'd missed - I thought it was never gonna end! But I finally got there, and I have to say I'm pretty damn pleased with the end result!

FANTASTIC! my only crit would not to cover up the linework so much on the 2 characters in the mid/foreground

Damn, it's been a while since I looked at this one - I can't believe how washed-out it looks compared to what I'm doing these days. I think if I was to do this now, it would be a LOT different! ^_^
