I've been working on various projects for a while now, which is great after being a little bereft of work for some time, but it hasn't left me much time to do anything for myself. So tonight I took a wee whim to do something about that.
I was actually just doing a bit of light housecleaning in my colouring folder, getting rid of some PSDs I'm never gonna bother finishing, and dumping a bunch of lines I've nabbed from various other deviants, but in the process I spotted these lovely inks by Mark Morales that I nabbed a coupla weeks ago, and thought it looked like just the ticket for a bit of self-indulgence. And okay, so the image isn't exactly teeming with detail, but I'm still pretty impressed at how quickly I managed this. Maybe about 4 hours or so from opening the inks, I think - that's lightning-quick for me!

Anyway, it's not at all how I expected it to come out, but then that's often the way these things go for me. Oh, and it also shows the first outing of my new colouring sig - about time I got that sorted out!
